Lead the PTA, oversee all committees, and serve as the main liaison between parents, staff, and administration.
Serve as the student voice within the PTA, helping coordinate student-led initiatives, support event planning, and encourage peer involvement in school activities.
Plan and coordinate fundraising efforts to support school programs and events.
Manage the PTA budget, track expenses, and ensure financial transparency.
Keep meeting minutes, maintain records, and handle PTA correspondence.
Ensure meetings follow proper procedures and support Board governance.
Promote arts programs and bring creative opportunities to students.
Support communication and coordination across assigned classroom or grade-level blocks, helping streamline volunteer efforts and event logistics.
Represent the school at district-level council meetings and share updates with the PTA.
Organize habitat workdays and partners with the Student PTA to maintain and enhance the habitat area, ensuring its proper care and accessibility so that all students can learn from and appreciate it.
Organize events and gestures to celebrate and thank our amazing teachers.
Support special events like book fairs and reading programs, coordinate volunteers, and relay the library’s needs to the PTA to provide resources for students and teachers.
Organize, sort, and distribute materials, coordinate volunteers, and help ensure that resources are readily available to teachers and students to promote strong reading skills campus-wide.
Coordinate school-wide programs, including Red Ribbon Week and educational assemblies.
Capture school memories by organizing photos, layouts, and the production of the yearbook.
The principal is vital to PTA success by aligning school goals with parent efforts, setting priorities, and encouraging staff and community support, ensuring PTA programs meet campus needs.
Manage school store operations, school supplies, and spirit wear sales.
Organize family and community events, such as Muffins with Mom and Popsicle Play Dates, to build family-school connections and school spirit.
Promote collaboration and support between the PTA and school faculty.
Keep families informed through newsletters, social media, and announcements.
Work with science and STEM coaches to coordinate activities, share resources, and promote events that strengthen STEM education.
Recruit and organize volunteers for school and PTA activities.
