COMMUNITY SUPPORT FOR OUR CROSSING GUARD, MS. CAITLIN
Caitlin Rooney has been a cherished part of the Ed White community, known for her bright smile, uplifting spirit, and the joyful waves that greeted families each morning at Whitecap and Les Talley. She took immense pride in keeping our children safe and quickly became a beloved part of our daily routines. Many will remember her compassion—even during moments like the loss of Oreo the cat, when she stood with our community in grief. This school year, Caitlin has been away as she bravely faces pancreatic cancer, and she recently shared the heartbreaking news of a six‑month prognosis. With her permission, we are sharing her GoFundMe to help support her during this difficult time. Whether through donating, sharing, or simply sending love, we invite everyone to show Caitlin how deeply she has touched our lives. Her spot, and her presence, will always be part of our community.
